I have been a Langley Wildthing for the past 12 years and I am so excited to be returning as an assistant coach this summer- being part of this community both in and out of the pool is so special to me!
I am a rising sophomore at Yale University studying global affairs, and swim on the club team. I was previously on the NCAP National Team, qualifying for sectionals, NCSAs, and Futures. I was also a captain of the Langley High School swim team and was a state qualifier and finalist. I have been a junior coach at the Langley Club for the past 4 summers coaching kids from ages 2-18, have been doing lessons for the past two, and I am so excited to take on my role of assistant coach this year! I also have been volunteering for the past three years as a swim instructor for children with disabilities and I am CPR/AED certified. I can’t wait to be back at the pool with all of your Wildthings!
Fee/Duration: $35 for 30 minutes
Payment: Cash, Venmo, Zelle
I have been a part of the Langley Wildthings for 13 years. I joined as a mini, and I have loved spending my summers with the team! I have been a junior coach for the past 3 years and have loved getting to know and work with the kids. I am an Assistant Coach this year and am excited to continue to get to know the swimmers. I enjoy helping kids improve their technique and gain confidence in the water! I helped out with the Winter Wildthings last year, working with kids ages 9 to 12. I have also coached with Norman Swimming in the past during the winter, teaching ages 4-7. I graduated from Langley High School, where I swam on the swim team all four years. I currently go to the University of Colorado Boulder, where I am on the swim team. I am lifeguard and CPR/AED certified, and I’m so excited to be back in the water with the kids!

I graduated from the Boston College Connell School of nursing school in 2024, where I also swam on the Varsity Swim Team. I formerly swam on the National Team for Machine Aquatics. I began swimming competitively for Machine at age eight. Throughout high school I qualified for States, was a Langley HS swim team captain, and was a two event qualifier for NCSA’s. I have been the head coach for the Winter Wildthings program, as well as an assistant coach for the Wildthings the past six summers. I also work with Fitter and Faster, as an assistant elite clinician for their swim camps! This past year I had the honor of receiving the “Rookie clinician of the year” award. I am looking forward to coaching again this summer and cannot wait to see you all at the pool whether it be for practice, meets, or lessons!!
When I am not at the pool, I am a full time nurse at INOVA Fairfax, in the Pediatric Emergency Department! I am excited to have the opportunity to coach part time, to stay connected with the Wildthings. However, I will be balancing coaching with nursing this summer, so please feel free to reach out to me directly to find a time that works for you or your swimmer.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me directly if you would like to talk about lessons for this summer, I cannot wait to swim with you or your child!

I have been a part of the Wildthings family for as long as I can remember, starting 16 years ago on Mini Wildthings when I was 5. Being on the swim team and coaching has always been such a highlight for me and I cannot imagine spending my summers any other way!
I am currently a rising Senior political science and educational studies double major at Davidson College on the pre-law track, and I swim on the Varsity Swim Team. This summer I will be pursuing an internship with a political consulting firm, however, I am not quite ready to give up my passion for giving swim lessons! As of now, my Calendly only includes Sunday morning slots. However, if Saturday afternoons work better for you, text or email me because I may have some availability on a week to week basis! Thank you so much for your patience and flexibility as I adjust to this new chapter!

My name is Marina Watson and I’ve been part of the Langley Wildthings swim team for the past 13 years. This team has been such a huge part of my life, and I’m beyond excited to be coming back this summer as an assistant coach. I graduated from Langley High School in 2025, where I was a team captain of the Langley swim and dive team, and now I attend the University of South Carolina. I swam year-round with Machine Aquatics for 8 years and spent 3 of those on the National Team, where I competed at very high level meets. I’ve been a junior coach at Langley for the past 4 years and have been teaching swim lessons for the past 3. I’ve also worked as a lifeguard for the past 2 years and am CPR and AED certified. I’ve loved every second of working with kids in the water and helping them build their confidence and skills. I can’t wait to bring that same energy, fun, and love for the sport to the pool this season. Let’s make it the best summer yet Wildthings!
